5/100 - Shannon

I spent my lunch hour walking around downtown Ottawa once again. After 45 minutes, I was about to give up, when I noticed Shannon because of her long flowing red hair. She was walking and chatting with her friend and I came up behind them and introduced myself to them. I told Shannon that it was her beautiful hair that caught my eye and that I have a tendency to notice redheads given the fact that I'm married to one. She said that redheads were about 2% of the population (it's true, I looked it up) when I remarked that they stand out given the fact that there are so few of them.

Shannon works for the Government of Canada as an Analyst . She seemed somewhat reluctant with what could certainly be considered an odd request, but delighted me when she agreed to the portrait, I took a few photos, thanked her and her friend for their time and headed back to work.
